C1
C1 is at the heart of all of the various types of mathematics. Core Mathematics 1 extends the ideas in algebra that you learned in GCSE. You will learn how to write the equation of a straight line through two points and how to quickly add up all of the even numbers up to 400.
But that's not all. Oh no. You will learn about the greatest mathematical idea of the last millenium: Calculus.
There are 5 sections in C1. Please note that I am following Edexcel's specification and not any particular text book (usually the largest section, Algebra and Functions, is split up into smaller chunks in text books).
